Chaperone

Volunteer as a Chaperone 

All volunteer chaperones must be a minimum of 21 years of age unless they are the student’s parent or legal guardian and will be required to complete the following:

• Have an approved Level 2 background check with Belmont Academy
• Possess a valid Florida Drivers license and have it processed through the Raptor system prior to each event
• Complete and sign the Chaperone Guideline form prior to each event

*Parents, siblings, relatives, or any other persons who are not approved chaperones or student participants in the field trip are not permitted to join a field trip on provided transportation or at its destination. No babies or younger children may attend a field trip.

*If you are interested in chaperoning a field trip/event you will need an approved Level 2 background check prior to starting in that volunteer position. There is a $20.00 fee for the background check but it is good for 5 years.
