We appreciate your willingness to volunteer!

We are looking forward to another great year! We truly appreciate our volunteers and all that you do at Belmont. Below is some updated information.

A few things to remember:

*As per the Parent/Student Handbook, each family is asked to earn 100 hours of volunteer time from March 1st through February 28th. If by February 28th a minimum of 20 hours has not been met, then those students will have to enter into the lottery for the next school year. Please see the Parent/Student Handbook for more details.

*For those that may need it, a Hardship Waiver Request must be submitted by November 1st
-For information about Hardship Waiver Requests, please click here

*Volunteers are responsible for entering their own time. Time can be entered on either of the volunteer tablets located at the Front Desks of the Elementary and Secondary campuses.

*All volunteers must sign in at the Front Desk and receive a volunteer badge to be worn at all times while on campus.

*We would very much appreciate all of our volunteers to be dressed appropriately and professionally. Our staff and students have a strict dress code, so we ask that our volunteers look their best, as well!

*Unless a permitted age is listed in the Sign Up information, children, whether students or not, are not allowed to attend volunteer functions. If there is an issue, please contact the Sign Up organizer or the Volunteer Coordinator.

**If you are interested in volunteering in our Aftercare program, in a classroom, chaperoning a field trip/event, or proctoring exams during testing seasons you will need an approved Level 2 background check prior to starting in any of those volunteer positions. There is a $20.00 fee for the background check but it is good for 5 years.

**Please email [email protected] to check your status and/or begin the application and approval process. Once submitted, please allow 14 business days for background check results. The school's policy regarding background checks and approval is located here

If you have any questions, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Amanda Bethea.
