This Week in Civics

This week we begin the second half of our journey into the world of government and politics. Please keep in mind that although our biggest focus is to help students understand their government and become active citizens, we will be STATE TESTED on the material learned in Civics on MAY 13. Students will see an increase in homework and will be expected to pay attention closely in class as we dive into new material! Please continue to read over material and review with your child in order to help him/her prepare for this exam. You will also find review links on my homepage to help with test preparation.
The Civics Exam is 30% of a student's final course grade and ALL students must pass Civics as a middle school requirement for HS entry. Any student who does not pass will be required to retake this course.
