This is Mr. Rolerson’s tenth year teaching. Prior to serving at Belmont, he was a teacher, athletic director and girl’s soccer coach at LCMS. Mr. Rolerson has 21 years of experience working with children. He first worked with youth as a snowboarding instructor in Maine on the weekends, while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism. This experience inspired him to work as a children’s counselor and athletic coordinator at a group home, after his bachelor’s studies. Years later, after completing a Master's Degree in Education, he moved to Florida and began his teaching career. Over the past 21 years, he has worked as a freelance journalist for various publications in Maine and Florida. Mr. Rolerson is excited to be with Belmont Academy and is committed to upholding its vision.
