This is Mr. Rolerson’s ninth year as a teacher. Prior to teaching at Belmont, he served as a teacher, athletic director and girl’s soccer coach for another Columbia County School.  Mr. Rolerson has 20 years of experience working with children. He first worked with youth as a snowboarding instructor in Maine, after high school, while pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.  The fulfillment of helping people learn how to snowboard, inspired him to work as a children’s counselor and athletic coordinator at a group home, after his bachelor’s studies.  Years later, after completing a Master's Degree in Education, he moved to Florida and began his teaching career. Over the past 20 years, he has also worked as a freelance journalist for various publications in Maine and Florida. Mr. Rolerson is very excited to be with Belmont Academy and is committed to upholding its vision.
