Jack- 28.8 points with 89% accuracy
Adelyn- 27.7 points with 88% accuracy
Laurel- 27.3 points with 90% accuracy

 

Congrats to Genevieve, Chance, Adelyn, Nora, Jack, Joshua, Michael, Silas, Ariel, Thomas, Laurel, Nate, and Kaylee on earning atleast 25 AR points this 9 weeks and earning a pizza and movie party! 

 

AR points do start over on Monday so those who were close have a chance to make it next time =) 

 

Also kudos to my study island superstars who earned 3 more blue ribbons this week by passing their lessons with atleast a 70%: Genevieve, Aaliyah, Ella, Chance, Daelyn,  Adelyn, Nora, Jack, Joshua, Silas, Ariel, Tommy, Laurel, Nate and Kaylee.

 

STUDY ISLAND NEWS:

Composing and decomposing 4 digit numbers (Math)
Syllables (ELA)
Collecting and recording data (science) 
The assignments are only worked on at school.

 

Focus for the week:
Reading: Theme (moral/message of a story), predictions, ,combining sentences, 
Math: Chapter 4- Using multiplication facts to find unknown division facts

Science: Animal research project
