Can you believe it is already October!?!

The end of the 9 weeks is October 8th. Report cards will be sent out the following week. Awards Day for 3rd grade will be October 15th at 9am in the cafeteria and online on the Belmont Facebook page.

By Friday, October 8th- everyone should have at least 25 AR points with a test average of 85% or higher =)

STUDY ISLAND NEWS:
Assigned for this week are: multiplication and division facts, behavioral responses (science) and structure of texts.

Focus for the week: 
Reading- theme, similes, plural and subject nouns. Genre: Historical fiction
Math- Chapter 4 – multiplication (chapter test will be on Tuesday- look for review on Monday) Will begin understanding division on Wednesday.
Social Studies- States (South and Midwest)
Science- Hibernation, migration, and adaptation- changes that affect living things
