Can you believe it is already October!?!

The end of the 9 weeks is October 8^th. Report cards will be sent out the following week. Awards Day for 3^rd grade will be October 15^th at 9am in the cafeteria and online on the Belmont Facebook page.

STUDY ISLAND NEWS:
Assigned for this week are: multiplication and division facts, behavioral responses (science) and structure of texts.

Focus for the week: 
Reading- theme, similes, plural and subject nouns. Genre: Historical fiction
Math- Chapter 4 – multiplication (chapter test will be on Tuesday- look for review on Monday) Will begin understanding division on Wednesday.
Social Studies- States (South and Midwest)
Science- Hibernation, migration, and adaptation- changes that affect living things
